Ronald P. Asselin

Beloved father of Robert (Mary) Asselin, Randy (Corry) Asselin, and Renee Wilson. Special grandfather of Kristina Asselin and great-grandfather of De’Andre. Also survived by brothers Rick, Mick, and Mark and sisters Annette, Barbara, and Bonnie Kay and many nieces and nephews. Survived by the mother of his children, Leona Fliss. Preceded in death by parents Harvey and Madonna (nee Lussier) Asselin, and siblings Veronica O’Keefe, Victor (Pete) Asselin, and Audrey Lessard.  Ron was born in Oklee, MN and moved to South Milwaukee as a teenager. He worked many years at Ben & Jerry’s service station and retired from Bucyrus Erie after more than forty years of service.  In his earlier years, his favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, small engine repair, and four-wheeling.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going up north to his special get-away, and trips to the casino.  His children would like to thank Dr. Ramagopal Tumulari and nurse Beth Chojnacki, St. Luke’s CICU and S10, and Compassus Hospice for the care provided to our dad.  Per Ron’s request, there will not be a funeral service.
