South Milw. - Born to eternal life March 30, 2021 at the age of 85. Roman was born on August 27, 1935, son of Anton and Anna (Kosloski) Ueberfluss. Devoted husband of Patricia (nee Wanserski) for 63 years. Adored Father of Gregory Ueberfluss and Karin (Masood) Wasiullah. Grandfather of Nadia (Mike) Peters and Amir (Jennifer) Wasiullah. Great-grandfather of Madison, Cohen, Beckham, Mason and Miles. Beloved brother of Gertrude Hart. Preceded in death by his 12 siblings. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Ray Ceplina and Gary Wojnowski for their never-ending help over the past several years. Romie was a Master Gardener who lived to put his hands in the soil every spring and who could grow nearly anything. He was an all-around handyman whose tool collection was comparable to Pat's shoe collection. He was a devoted neighbor to all on Marquette Avenue, retired employee of Bucyrus International, member of Divine Savior Parish, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Romie loved a good party, a cold Pabst or bloody Mary, casino trips, the Packers and a good game of cards. He instilled the love of animals, the outdoors and sports to his children. We believe he is now happily joined by his siblings, playing a good game of Sheepshead or Pinochle.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Divine Mercy Parish in Romie's name.
