Rebecca Briana Corona-Dobbins (born 1974) departed this earth on Sunday August 20th,
2023. She is survived by her husband Tom Dobbins and their beloved dog Rico in Oak Creek
Wisconsin, father James Corona, step-mother Dottie Abraham and step-sister Cheryl
Scroger in New Mexico, and mother Gale Hoeke in Idaho, in-laws David and Louise Robarge,
and surrogate mother Lorie Hall and dear friend Nicole Hall. She is also survived by sister Bess
and her partner Eli Rosenblatt and their children Isiah, Jasmine, Jeremiah, Noah, Leila and
Elijah in Milwaukee, and in New Mexico her brother Jim and his wife Jamie and their family
Alexander Dunklee, Johnathan Shupe, Jadeis Sanchez and Onyx Dunklee, Rebecca’s brother
Steve and his wife Bridgette and their children Ava and Liam, and sister Rachel and her
husband Drew. Rebecca touched the lives of her extended family, coworkers at
Northwestern Mutual, and her network of acquaintances and friends.
Rebecca is known by all as the hardest working, most self-determined, deeply caring, friendly,
goofy, intelligent, problem-solver. She was fiercely independent and stubborn, a bit of a
perfectionist, but also sweet and compassionate. She was deeply committed to raising money
for cancer research, especially Lymphoma, which she beat and remained in remission from for
over two decades. Rebecca is a beautiful spirit and will be remembered with love by all.
