Our beloved mother was called to heaven after her battle with lung cancer at only 59 years old. She is survived by her 3 daughters Melanie Roy, Melissa Roy/Butler and Patricia Roy as well as her 5 grandchildren; Leslie, Deanna, Ruby, Brett and Ellie who all held a very special place in her heart. Her beautiful, kind and gentle presence will be missed dearly by many. Our mother was strong and resilient as she faced many trials and tribulations in her lifetime that most never have to endure. Through all of the hardships she still always saw the beauty in life and love. She was a simple woman who didn't need much to be happy. Taking a simple walk and doing crossword puzzles were her favorite past times in life. Even in her last days, she did not want any pain medications to relieve her suffering which shows how truly amazing and strong she was. She put her faith in God, as well as the love and support of her family to get her through her suffering until God called her home at 4:00AM on Wednesday, March 30th 2022, peacefully in her sleep. May she rest in peace, free from any pain and suffering. God gained a special angel that day. We know she will always be with us in our hearts and continues to watch over us as we journey through life. May her soul live on with her beloved husband John Gamino for all of eternity. We will forever keep our memories with her close in our hearts, as we continue to share the kindness and love with our children that she shared with us.
