A loving husband, father, brother and son, Jacob enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking. He was a fun-loving, loyal friend, a creative gifted writer and artist, and had a great passion for learning. That passion and natural curiosity led him to become an international teacher, which allowed him to adventure around the globe. His journey brought him back to the midwest, living in the Milwaukee area to be close to family. His life was cut tragically short and he will be forever missed by all.
He is survived by his father and mother, Jon and Susan Skoglund; wife and daughter, Evelyn and Amelia Skoglund; sister and brother-in-law Anna and David Harrell; sister, brother-in-law and nephews, Lissa Skoglund, Charles Licht, Wyatt and Waylon Skoglund Licht; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
