Iva Johnson Obituary

Went home to the Lord on June 17th, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born to William and Velma Powell in Amory, MS. She was the oldest of 5 children.

She married her High School sweetheart, Eugene Johnson on July 14th, 1961. Nell enjoyed crocheting and gardening and was a retiree as a Lead Press Operator from Ferrite International located in Wadsworth, IL. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and close friends.

Nell was truly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Eugene and 3 children, Kevin (Theresa) of Beach Park, IL, Jenelle Deveau of Gurnee, IL and Phillip (Nici) of Burlington, WI.

She was a proud grandma to grandchildren; Justin, Jason, Adam and Madison and great-grandchildren; Brandon, Will, Mackenzie, Cammy and Conner.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents and sister Faye Mares.

Private services will take place at a later date.
