Grant N. Rissley found peace on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 28.
Beloved son of Norman and Catherine (nee Brown) Rissley. Older brother of Lee Rissley. Further survived by many relatives.
Grant enjoyed being outdoors. Aside from family vacations to the Dells, out East, and to the Great Smokey Mountains, he cherished the many outings that Boy Scouts of America provided. The opportunity to experience summer camps, a Voyager Canoe trip to Lake Superior in Canada, and two National Jamborees was where he really thrived. He earned 39 merit badges, held many positions within the Troop, and achieved the rank of Eagle in 2013. Scouting was a major part of his life from Tiger Cub 2003 to Eagle 2013. His Eagle project was done at Trimborn Farm in Greendale.
Upon high school graduation, he took a few courses in automotive repair. He was mechanically inclined and held various types of jobs. He was in search of a career path that combined his passions with his acquired skills.
He still enjoyed the outdoors. He loved the sunrise especially over Lake Michigan. He was always posting sunrise photos.
He was a kind, loving, sweet, and sensitive soul. He will be greatly missed.
