Bill H. Burt

Went fishing in the big lake up in the sky on Sun. April 25th, 2021 at the age of 93. Born oct. 28th, 1927 to George and Nina (Eagle) Burt in Presque Isle, WI. Survived by his children Bruce (Sandra), Cheryl (Joe) Gallagher, daughter-in-law Doreen Burt and one grandson Brandon Brasile. Preceded in death by wives Marjorie J. (Langer) Krahn, Marjorie V. (LaPonte) Burt, beloved son Bill II, five brothers and two sisters. A Navy veteran of WWII in the South Pacific for 4 1/2 years. Worked various jobs as a mixologist at little Tiger Park, Cory's Lounge, Ray Jackson's Supper Club, former co-owner of Zippy Pizza while holding down a full time job at Ladish Co. which he retired from with over 36 yrs of seniority. After retirement was a permanent resident of Mesa, AZ for 28 yrs before moving back to Wisconsin with deep regrets to live with his son and daughter-in-law Bruce & Sandra. Dad enjoyed gourmet cooking (took 4 yrs of classes at MATC), a vodka martini with a twist of lemon, Friday fish fry's, Southwest foods, pizza, fishing and golfing. Special thank  you to Kathy (William) Mani and Bonnie Dillon for providing Dad extra care, support and love. Also, neighbors who stopped to chat and make his days a little more special. A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held on May 15th with visitation from 10AM-11AM with Mass to follow at St. Peter and Paul Parish, 1308 15th Ave. South Milw., 53172.
