Beatrice V. (Vavra) Collins

Beatrice V Collins ~ April 10, 1930 to May 7, 2023

Mom (aka Busy Bea), Grandma, & Aunt Bea, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, where she lived all of her life.

Mom was wonderfully devoted to her 3 children Michael, Jan, and Paul.

She was a loving Grandmother to Drew and an Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Our mother kept busy, raising children, reading and eventually going back to work.

She spent so many years working for Milwaukee County nobody remembers how many! 

Throughout her life and retirement Beatrice kept herself busy creating and designing unique women’s denim handbags which she sold at street festivals and craft fairs.

Busy Bea was a devoted to her friends and was always there if you needed someone to talk to.

She loved to laugh and always had a smile on her face.

Beatrice was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.

A Memorial will be held at Sheridan Park in Cudahy, WI on Saturday, May 20th at 11am with a picnic lunch in the park afterwards. Meet at the lagoon and bring a dish to pass if you are so inclined.
