Craig Roberts, 67, of Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully following a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. Craig was surrounded by his family and countless loved ones during his final days. Born in 1952 to parents Deloris and Lee Roberts in Milwaukee, Craig spent his entire life in the Milwaukee area. Craig met and later married his beloved wife, Roberta "Bunny" Roberts, in 1972. Together they raised two children, their daughter Christy Roberts and their son, Jason Roberts. Additionally, they served a significant and instrumental role in raising three wonderful grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Anthony and three great grandchildren; Brooklyn, Samuel and Mason. Craig and Bunny served a self-less role that helped shape, ground and support all those within the family.
Craig had a passion for the outdoors, including fishing and hunting, until the very end. This passion for the outdoors lives on and continues to be seen in lives of a his children, grand children and great grandchildren. Many of Craig's fondest memories were his weekend get-aways with his wife, family and friends at the Bark River Campground or his Canadian fishing adventures with his brother, son and grandson. These memories and experiences stayed with Craig and provided much comfort and peace toward the end of his life.
Craig is survived by his son, Jason (Gina) Roberts, his grandchildren; Justin(Kayla), Jessica(Neal) and Anthony, his great grandchildren; Brooklyn, Samuel, Mason, Gabby and Sophia; his sister Shirley (Rich) Huebner and brothers Tom (Pat) Roberts and Jeff (Karen) Roberts.
Craig is proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Bunny and his daughter, Christy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Oak Creek Community Center located at 8580 South Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53154. Service will follow at 7:00pm.
