Patrick J. Marquette

Pat (Patrick) James Marquette, age 52, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of April 3rd 2024 with his beloved wife of 31 years, Kim Marquette, and eldest Daughter, Ellen Marquette, right beside him. 

Pat arrives in heaven ahead of many loved ones. Alongside his wife and eldest daughter, he leaves behind his second daughter, Ashley Marquette, and his son, Nathan Marquette. He was a loving son to Virginia, and is preceded in death by his dad Dallas. A brother to three sisters, Betty, Kathy, and Leanne, and two brothers, Ed, and Frank. He was a welcoming and supportive father-in-law to his son’s wife, Vianey, and his eldest daughter’s husband, Peter. Pat was a good, chatty friend to many around him, especially Brian and Tracey Hanson, Tom Swenson, and Rich Lintner.

In his 52 years, Pat showered love upon his family. As he never stopped giving gifts, regardless of what anybody said. He was always there for the people he loved. Pat really enjoyed his family vacations. There wasn’t a drive long enough to deter him from experiencing the great national parks and sites, traveling with his wife and family to 42 out of 50 states! For anyone finding themselves around Pat, he would never let them be a stranger for long. He’d happily strike a conversation with anyone in his orbit, whether it be amongst friends and family or at work or on a walk within the greater Milwaukee area, or when waiting in any line. When at home, Pat would take over cooking, sometimes with help, providing many every day and holiday meals with his sparks of inspiration. 

Pat’s supportive nature, sense of humor, warm smile, and booming voice will be sorely missed. His memory will live forever through those he left behind. His wife knows that he is safely home.
